Caregiving Chronicles will present news and analysis on caregiving topics in MetroWest and around the world, in-depth Q&As with experts in fields related to caregiving and updates and announcements about caregiving resources available in MetroWest from CaregivingMetroWest.org Program Director Douglas Flynn.


Workshop for Grandparents raising Grandchildren

The Commission on the Status of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren will be convening workshops this spring throughout Massachusetts. Each workshop is approximately three hours long. A guest speaker will present at each workshop a topic important to relative caregivers. Each presentations will be followed by an information panel, which includes representatives from agencies who work with grandparents raising grandchildren such as DTA, DCF, Masshealth, WIC, Elder Services, and more. Local community support providers will also be present.
