The Alzheimer’s Association Massachusetts/New Hampshire is hosting an Introduction to Mindfulness Education program on Tuesday, January 17 from 6-7:30 p.m. at the Alzheimer’s Association office in Watertown (480 Pleasant Street).
The education program is for the general public, including caregivers, to learn about mindfulness practices and how they can help you respond more effectively to stress. Speaker Marlo Pedroso, LICSW, is a dedicated practitioner of Insight meditation, a qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction instructor trained at the Center for Mindfulness at UMASS and a certified Iyengar Yoga instructor.
