The MetroWest Alzheimer’s Partnership is hosting author Greg O’Brien for “Learn How to Build a Better Day,” a discussion and book signing this Saturday at the Callahan Center in Framingham.

O’Brien is an award-winning investigative journalist who has been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s. O’Brien writes about living with the disease, not dying from it, and does it with hope, faith and humor in his book, On Pluto: Inside the Mind of Alzheimer’s. O’Brien will talk about his personal experience with Alzheimer’s and sign copies of his book during the event.

There will also be interactive engagement demonstrations to help caregivers “Learn How to Build a Better Day.”

The event will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 11. Registration and interactive engagement demos will be at 9-9:45 a.m. RSVPs are requested. Call 508-532-5980.

The Callahan Center is located at 535 Union Avenue in Framingham, Mass.
