CAREGIVING CHRONICLES

Information and resources that support your role in caring for a loved one.

Carriage House at Lee’s Farm in Wayland continues its spring Caregiver Education Series on Wednesday, May 25 with a presentation on “Navigating Hospital Visits.”

Presented by Debbie Gitner, LCSW, of Eldercare Resources Services, this program will look at scenarios such as, “Mom is heading to the hospital, what do I need to know?” A hospital visit may be difficult to navigate without an education on the hospital admission process, discharge planning and insurance protocol. This program will review the process of a hospital stay, including your planned care and potential financial responsibilities.

The event begins at 5:30 p.m. at Carriage House at Lee’s Farm (134 Boston Post Road, Wayland, MA) and refreshments will be served.

Please RSVP to Suzana at 508-358-2800 or suzana@carriagehousewayland.com.

The next event in the series will be, “Dad Doesn’t Recognize His Diagnosis – What Now?” on Wednesday, June 29 at 5 :30 p.m.
