CAREGIVING CHRONICLES

Information and resources that support your role in caring for a loved one.

November is National  Family Caregivers Month.

The theme for National Family Caregivers Month November 2017 is “Caregiving Around the Clock.” Caregiving can be a 24-hour a day/7-day a week job. Caring for a senior with Alzheimer’s or a child with special needs can be non-stop, and providing care around the clock can crowd out other important
areas of life.

Join us as we mark the occasion with an evening to provide information for caregivers and offer some well-deserved appreciation for all that they do.

The night will feature a talk by Deborah Strafuss, author of “On Angels’ Wings: A Journey Through Alzheimer’s with My Mother.”

It will take place on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 6-8 p.m. at BayPath Elder Services
(33 Boston Post Road West, Marlborough, MA) in the first-floor board room.

Please RSVP to BayPath Caregiver Specialist Alicia Rego at 508-573-7239

The event is free and open to all. There will be refreshments and a book raffle.
