Natick Human Services is offering an educational program for hoarders and those concerned about them.

“Full House: A Hoarder’s Journey” will be held on Wednesday, September 6 (1-2 p.m.) at the Natick Community-Senior Center (117 East Central Street, Natick, MA).

This presentation about hoarding will be led by Lorraine Gilmore. Gilmore has the disorder known as compulsive hoarding. She will share her journey of downsizing, and will discuss her struggles and the strategies that helped her.

There are also openings in their Peer Support Group for Hoarders, a 15-week program on Thursdays (6-8 p.m.), beginning September 14.

This group will use the book, Buried in Treaures, to discuss the most effective ways to address hoarding behaviors. Participants are asked to purchase the book prior to the first meeting
