CAREGIVING CHRONICLES

Information and resources that support your role in caring for a loved one.

The Alzheimer’s Association is offering a new resource to aid LGBTQ caregivers.

A new LGBTQ Phone Support Group is beginning this month, providing help and support to LGBTQ caregivers.

The Alzheimer’s Association LGBTQ Phone Support Group invites all to join other LGBTQ spouses and partners to support one another while receiving information and resources on Alzheimer`s disease and related dementias.

By offering support by phone, the group enables caregivers who might otherwise struggle to find the time to travel to a support group and get help to care for their loved one while they are away to still participate in a support group from their own home.

The phone support group will be held on the first Monday of each month.  Call Barb Meehan at 508-292-0660 or email bamscats@gmail.com for details on the exact time of the support group and call-in information.
