Information and resources that support your role in caring for a loved one.
Need to speak to someone by phone about a caregiving issue? There are options to contact someone directly for help.
More and more grandparents and other non-parental relatives find themselves in situations where they have to care for their grandchildren. That caregiving situation comes with its set of own challenges, concerns and issues, but there is support available to help you through your caregiving journey.
The Wayside Youth and Family Support Network is hosting a grandparent caregiver support group at the Framingham Family Resource Center.
The support group will help participants connect with other grandparents raising grandchildren in the area, and will cover topics including legal issues, school, and behavioral health issues, as well as community resources and self-care.
Snacks will be provided and the group meets from 10-11:30 a.m. on the first and third Tuesday of each month at the Framingham Family Resource Center (88 Lincoln Street, Framingham, MA).
