ELDER LAW ATTORNEYS
Elder law attorneys are lawyers who specialize in areas of law that involve representing, counseling and assisting seniors, people with disabilities and their families in connection with a variety of legal issues.
Those issues include estate planning, Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid benefits, retirement planning, long-term care financing, elder abuse and age discrimination.
Elder law attorneys help seniors prepare for the future through asset planning and health care advocacy, and can prepare such important documents as a health care proxy and durable power of attorney. Check out our Financial and Legal Information section for more on the steps to help your loved ones with their financial and legal needs.
